Our TSS 8-Step Refurbishing Process

A detailed, step-by-step process covering component removal, cleaning, motor rebuilding, new-part installation, testing, and final shipping preparation.

Process Overview

From tear-down to final shipping check.

The TSS refurbishing process begins with removing old components, then moves through sand blasting, motor rebuilding, hot-water pressure washing, plastic heat treatment, installation of new parts, operational testing, and a final pre-shipment test with photo and video documentation.

The Process

Every step has a defined purpose.

Step 01

Remove All Old Parts

Batteries, battery cables, drain hoses, vac motor, hour meter, battery gauge, drive motor, brush motors, solution valve, solution hose, drive tires, caster plate, caster wheels, tank gaskets, vac filters, inlet hose, debris cage, pad driver and pads are all removed.

Step 03

Rebuilding Motors

At this stage we replace carbon brushes, bearings and resurface armature. We then test the motor using a battery pack bench before reassembling.

Step 04

Pressure Wash

The entire unit is then pressure washed using hot water. We do this by hand to avoid getting the control panel wet. Both tanks are also pressure washed with hot water to remove any debris and chemical build up.
